Denise is an accomplished Research and Licensing Executive, Attorney, and Engineer with expertise in high-value, high-risk intellectual property transactions, from both the academic and commercial sectors. Her specialties include hardware and software applications and operating system technologies, bioinformatics, and medical devices. After a long tenure with Hewlett Packard in various technical, managerial and business development roles, she provided strategic and business advice to Fortune 500 clients in her Massachusetts law practice. Most recently, Denise served as Associate Director of Research and Licensing at the Massachusetts General Hospital, the largest teaching hospital of the Harvard Medical School. She holds a Ph.D. in computational linguistic and computer science from the University of Pennsylvania and received her J.D. from the Franklin Pierce Law Center. She is also an alumna of Smith College and Boston University. Denise is an active member of the Massachusetts Bar Association, the Association of University Technology Managers, and holds the designation of Certified Licensing Professional from the Licensing Executive Society.
