Originally from Chicago, Illinois, Ms. Nickerson, a fluent French speaker, received her B.A. in Engineering from Brown University. Since joining Foresight, Ms. Nickerson has worked with a host of Environmental Protection Agency and Department of Energy Small Business Innovation Research awardees, providing commercialization strategies for early-stage technologies. In particular, she has provides assistance with term-sheet generation and provides general deal-making advice in order for these technologies to become commercial-ready. Twice monthly, Ms. Nickerson offers perspectives on renewable energy technologies in the Foresight Energy and Environmental Blog. She was recently published in Photovoltaics World for her viewpoint on traversing the new product “valley of death.” As Team Leader, Ms. Nickerson is a point-of-contact for Foresight’s Energy and Environmental assessments and provides support to in-house analysts and contractors across the country.
